Denise and Rick,
Just a quick note to again express my thanks for your considerable efforts in hosting your House Concert series. Annalee and I went to the Ryman last week to hear Patty Loveless; her music was outstanding, but we left half way through . . . because of several loud, drunken assholes sitting behind us that were out to have their version of a good time . . . which obviously did not include actually listening to music.
What sweet relief to have a venue that is comfortable, friendly, with excellent sound . . . and people who really LISTEN to the music. (to say nothing of the low price and high talent) You two, and your wonderful home, are a true blessing to the Nashville music community.
Thanks again for giving Keith Sykes a stage, and us a chance to hear a true American Troubadour.
